Aha ! Finally after a gruelling 30 hr journey, i’ve landed here in the US ! There were no surprises and everything went on well … I got my baggage back without any glitches and got a pickup too from Houston airport !

Couple of Indian guys picked me up, and gave me a ride back to college. Am staying now in a place called the French quarters… Seems ironic for a huge group of Indians to stay at ‘French’ quarters but ahem, with the swimming pool right outside, i dont care about colonisation 😉

Really tired with the jetlag adding up its part to my sleep account .. Slept for almost 2 days continuously .. not much to do here since i’ve got an assistanship already .. The new students here are running around trying to get a student worker position but i am sitting around reading crappy novels and stories to pass my time … Went to the Recreation center once and played TT and Racquet ball .. Was awesome ! more about that soon !
